Week 4
It's been so long since I've been able to update this blog! The building is going well. We have put the foundations in, and the walls are up. The Kisereni community has also dug the pit to 10 metres in depth.

I have been on safari twice. Once for three days in Lake Manyara and Ngorngoro in the second weekend. Here, I got fantastic material for elephants and giraffe. I had three elephants walk right passed my vechile with a baby. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to see the Tree Climbing Lions. We also saw Cheetah and Lions in Ngorongoro crater.

I then spent 5 days in the Serengeti. The time spent here was concentrating on the big cats. As soon as we got into the park we saw a pride of lions with about six cubs. A leopard had left its kill in a tree, and I waited for three hours for the leopard to come back. It did! However unfortunately it was dark, so I did not get much material from it. However it was such a thrill to see the leopard appear and climb up the tree to where its kill was. I also saw a cheetah attempt a kill, and many elephants, antelope and baboon.

I shall sign off there as I am heading back to Kisereni.
